Aerial and Handling Services Ltd have launched a new version of their deckRailXtra® materials handling attachments, this new device DRXmicro™ has been purposefully designed for use with the Airo XLP5E push around MEWP.
Having studied the low level market for some years, Aerial and Handling Services noticed there is no option for users of such equipment to safely restrain and support materials. By integrating the new DRXmicro™ with the Airo XLP5E they have created an entirely new concept for the industry.
This new combined option of both MEWP and MHA will be offered as the IPAV™ (industrial push around vertical) and comes finished as standard in impervious Zinc. This is a deliberate rights protected design feature as the galvanised coating provides a lifetime of cosmetic protection and makes the IPAV™ virtually corrosion free, perfect for the M&E sector and harsh environments. Regardless of any paint/dirt the MEWP is returned covered with the underlying impervious zinc substrate will not be affected no matter which method is used to clean it, a hot pressure washer and £10.00 decal set is all that’s required to turn the IPAV™ round ready for hire.
Each IPAV™ has a 250kg SWL and working height of 5.3 metres. DRXmicro™ has a rotating rear jaw to allow entry into the platform, a rated carrying capacity of 40kgs and weighs just 10kg.
This new small attachment now completes the deckRailXtra® range of MHA’s currently manufactured by AHS. With the other two devices DRXmulti® and DRXplus® we now are able to supply a complete fleet option for MHA’s including both PAV, scissor lifts and boom type MEWP’s.
The IPAV™ is available immediately.
